Guesting with Kellybell Designs!

I'm in my first month of a two-month guest term with the fantastic Disney designer Kellybell Designs. I'm loving all the huge and creative kits she has released so far! Seriously, she is so prolific. I'm awesome excited to see what she comes up with next!

First up is the Pretty in Pink collection - a gorgeous color scheme of pink, purples, whites and blacks. It's fantastic for the Minnie-in-pink photos as well as Daisy! We have only met Minnie in her red-and-white dress, so I knew Daisy would be awesome for this collection. I used a coordinating paper stacker to start my layout off easily.

Next is a kit and collection devoted to the gorgeous new Beast's Castle and Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland. I have yet to go there, but I can hardly wait. It looks amazing and the reviews are great too! Love Transformed is absolutely lovely for creating the perfect layout about these exciting new additions to Disney World. I also used a word art to title my layout quickly. I love word art!

Next, this beautiful new collection is filled to the brim with Cinderelly elements and works wonderfully for Cinderella's Castle, character greetings, as well as a general princess kit. It's filled with sparkle and pixie dust too - one of my favorite things! For the following layout, I used so many fun products from this collection: Fairytale Story kit, paper stacker, page starter, and word art. It came together quickly and easily!

Finally, Kelly has released an awesome spooky collection - Villainous! You can pick up the kit, paperstacks, page starters, word art 1 and/or word art 2 and be ready for all kinds of creepy layouts. These are perfect for photos of meeting the villains at Mickey's-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or really any kind of Halloween layout. Here's my page!

Expect Something Big from Dream Big Designs

Cheri of Dream Big Designs has been enjoying her new baby, spending time with her family, and getting ready for the upcoming Digital Scrapbooking Day, so I don't have a ton to share with you. I do love what I have though!

First up is my first hybrid project. It is Wendybird Designs Boxed In: Candy Wrap Up template. I think it turned out cute! I used an adorable new collab kit with Bella Gypsy called All Treats! I love the sweet theme and the bright and fun colors. It definitely tempts me to try hybrid again!

Next is some new journal cards for the Expecting collection! Creating this page was super easy using the journal cards as tiles. Love the variety and the soft color scheme. The photo is of me with my 2nd son in my belly. Hard to believe he's 9 years old now!

Get ready for DSD! I know Dream Big Designs is!

Happy Weekends, Photo Ops with Memory Clips

Time for another Memory Clips update! There have been a few fun new products released recently that I was fortunate enough to work with. I'm so excited to share them with you! Let's get down to it.

A lovely new release is Happy Weekend... filled with fun breakfast-in-bed and lazy weekend elements and word tags. So fun! I used it for a breakfast layout for our recent St Louis vacation. This is a pretty simple page but I love it. It says everything I want it to!

Next, the new release here is the template: Clip It Vol.6, and I used Memory Clips' Off the Record to record this silly little photo opportunity with my 2 year old. They seemed like the perfect fit! I really love how this page came together. Bright colors and I love the mix of patterned papers.

Just in time for Halloween comes Ramona's newest release, All Hallow's Eve! The colors are spot on traditional colors. Even though the photos I have from Halloween 2006 are terrible (sob! Stupid camera!), I thought they were still worth preserving. I can't go back and take new photos, but I can embrace the ones we have. I'm so glad to have these memories down for my boys!

Ramona is gearing up big time for DSD! Stay tuned!

Fall fun with Clever Monkey Graphics

Hello again! A mid-month update from me with Clever Monkey Graphics' goodies. Let's get right down to it! First up, I couldn't wait to get these memories down for our yearbook. We had two hair misadventures in one week and I knew that Cut & Snip was a great choice to scrap them! I also used a Yours Truly v4 template by Stolen Moments. Only a scrapping mama would snap a photo of her crying kid!

A new release, Fall Pumpkin Patch, has lovely soft but bright colors for your fall scrapping needs! I love the purple and that big sunflower. We haven't visited the pumpkin patch yet (hopefully this weekend!) but we did visit the apple orchard. This photo is my mother and her husband.

This photo was from a family photo session in 2011. The kit colors in Can We Feed Them?, a collab by Clever Monkey Graphics and Re Kneipp, were perfect! It's filled with goodies for all your duck/goose/seagull/pigeon feeding scrapping needs, but it also has just gorgeous fall colors.

Tracey's newest kit is Halloween Jack-o-Lantern! The pops of pink in this are so fun. I love the seed scatters - the sticker and the realistic. We actually don't usually carve pumpkins, but I may have made a visit to the store to buy one for the purposes of having photos to scrap for this layout... Haha! Anyway, I also used the new Proper Scribble Alpha for the title. It works so well with this kit!

As soon as I saw the new alpha Tall Blackout Alpha by Clever Monkey Graphics, I knew exactly what I wanted to use it for! I have had this fun kit, Turtle Power, by Scrappin' Serenity for quite a while but hadn't used it yet. The new alpha was a perfect complement to the kit, and it would work well for so many!

That's all for now! Thanks for reading!

So much Chelle's Creations eye candy!

Chelle's Creations, as usual, has tons of goodies to play with. I've created just a few pages lately that I'd love to share! Without further ado, here goes...

Chelle's newest Halloween kit, Toil and Trouble, has super cute felt elements and all of the standard scrappy things that you know, love, and need to create the perfect layout. These photos are from 2004, but I love them so much. There are also new additions to the Little People line just in time for Halloween!

I created this photoless page for a challenge at Scrap Orchard. It's about my journey with my glasses and contacts. Chelle recently released See Clearly Now and a coordinating alpha. They worked well with the Kraftabulous paper I used as a neutral background. I am in love with kraft paper! I also used a template from Little Green Frog Designs A Day Out template pack... the triangles are really fun!

This page I made for another challenge at Scrap Orchard. The main kit for this layout is actually from Meredith Cardall - A Bushel and a Peck - but I used lots of Chelle's Creations products as well! Again, I told you I love kraft paper, so here Kraftabulous is again. I also used CU Felt Flowers 2 and CU Ricrac Flowers to have more variety of flowers for the flower challenge. Little Green Frog Designs' template pack Barley Water gave me a starting point, and I love the result!

Lastly for this round is a page that's a bit out of my normal style. I'm not usually big on cutesy type layouts, but I do love a good pun. My 12 year old will probably cringe when he reads the title, but I don't care. I think it "toadally" rocks anyway! I used the Toadally kit by Chelle's Creations and Scrapping With Liz's Scrap Orchard blog challenge freebie from August.

Photos of my sweet new nephew! I loved doing his newborn photos so much... and I did this set up with using the Aviator kit and coordinating bonus papers! Also used Double Monthly Challenge templates 7 by Scrapping with Liz to whip this layout together so quick.

Finally, Chelle's super fun newest release: Game on, and the coordinating alpha #weplaygames! This kit is so perfect for family game night photos and so much more. Once I saw the kit, I knew exactly what I was going to scrap with it - this great photo I snapped of my 2 year old completing a matching game all on his own. He was so proud, and so was I!

That's all for this round! Be on the lookout for a ton of exciting new things for International Scrapbooking Day, coming up soon!

Spooks and More with Suzy Q Scraps!

Suzy Q Scraps has had a spook-tastic month so far! Lots of Halloween-y collections being released and re-released with new goodies. I've had the privilege of working with two, and then there's a new non-spooky release too!
First up is the super cute Lil Spooks collection! There are some super fun new journal cards to this previously released collection. This photo is my nephews from last Halloween. I love this bright color scheme and those silly ghosts and monsters! This layout came together easily with the Simple Story Grids 1, also by Suzy. There's something really satisfying about getting a page done easily!

Another spooky collection, Spookilicious - this time with a softer color scheme. This features my little sister, also from last Halloween. The softer colors are so sweet - it was just more of a challenge for me to work with! I think it turned out nicely though.

Here's my sweet new nephew! I was blessed to be there for his birth and it was such a beautiful day. I captured these photos when he was just a couple hours earthside. When I saw Suzy's new release You're My Everything collection, I knew it was perfect for his sweet newborn goodness.

Yet another layout down for our St Louis vacation book! I used Suzy's awesome Mad Scientist collection. I love all the science themed elements and that kooky scientist. How fun is that?! It totally sets the tone for the pages about our visit to the Science Center.

Suzy is gearing up for International Scrapbooking Day coming up soon. Stay tuned!
