Lots of layouts with Chelle's Creations!

I was beyond thrilled when I was asked to stay on the creative team for Chelle's Creations at the end of my guest term. "Please, stay with us and continue to work with amazing designs?" Ummm, yes please! I didn't take much convincing at all. Since it's been nearly a month since my last post about Chelle's stellar creations, I have quite a few layouts to share with you all!

First up, I used 3 different Chelle's Creations kit to create my Independence Day layout, all ones I had used before: Fireworks, Summertime, and History Lessons. Together they allowed me to create a page I'm quite proud of! They coordinated just perfectly.

Next is one of my favorite photos of my second son from a beach vacation a few years ago. How cool is that sand paper I used as a background?! The kit color scheme in At the Beach from Chelle's Creations is bright and totally summery. I love all the felties too.

For this layout, I mainly used the add-on kit Back 2 School Fall Semester, part of the Back 2 School bundle. The computer screen frame is so fun! It was a great element for this page about my high school days. I journaled about classes I took in my high school days.

Yet another layout from our recent St Louis vacation! Knocking them out slowly. I was so excited to see that for Chelle's Creations recent Felt 4 U contest, a winner had chosen root beer float as her selection. Isn't it super cute? Some others in this pack are a puffin, German Shepherd, a manatee, a Nerf dart... a random but COOL assortment. I hope she'll continue to release more random felties. To create this layout with the root beer float feltie, I used the Lovin' from the Oven bundle. The retro kitchen color palette was a perfect choice for our diner trip!

Once I saw Chelle's Creations newest release, Pasta La Feasta (in a bundle with Pizza Amore, also a new release), I knew I had a ton of photos to use with it! Who doesn't have messy baby eating spaghetti photos? I have some for each of my kids. I love the color scheme and all the feltie elements. Such a fun and easy page to create! I used the coordinating word art for a quick title.

Finally, Chelle's Creations has a new birthday kit called One Year Older. The bright primary color scheme is great for little ones birthday layouts! I love the little present boxes and the crumpled tissue paper - perfect accents for birthday pages!

Just a couple layouts with Dream Big Designs

Designer Cheri of Dream Big Designs recently had her fourth child, so she's enjoying her newborn son and babymoon... not too much new from DBD, but who could blame her? I'd be snuggling that sweetness too. So only 2 layouts from me for this post!

I was so excited to use the Discover Space bundle to create this layout from our recent trip to the Science Center in St. Louis. It was perfect to scrap these photos of this neat scale that tells you how much it would cost to send you to the moon. I made a simple journal card style page, which appeals to me more and more. I like the clean lines! The rocket ship, moon, and astronaut elements are too cute.

Secondly, Cheri recently released super cute new coordinating journal cards for her classic Submerged kit and bundle. I used the new Instalife cards, but they come in the 3x4 style too. Love the colors in this kit! One of my newest favorite things to do is use journal cards for easy paper layering.

That's all from me for now! Have a great day!

Summer with SuzyQ Scraps!

Several months ago, SuzyQ Scraps moved her store over to scrapbookgraphics.com and I guess with the change of stores, her regular creative team were getting overwhelmed a bit by all the products Suzy was releasing, so Suzy sent out an informal CT call. I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the "
Hopefuls" to work through some of her designs! I am so thrilled to be chosen, as Suzy had given me some advice on what I needed to work on a few months ago. Definitely feeling blessed!

This first layout is made with one of Suzy's newest collections, Second Chances. Look at this gorgeous color scheme! I love how the deep navy gives weight to the page but the orange and lime keep it fresh. I also used the Simple Story Grids 6 - perfect for journal card usage!

I already had Suzy's Champions kit, and I knew it was perfect for these photos of my second son at his 3rd grade track-and-field day. When I saw the coordinating NEW journal cards, I had to use them! I love the bright color scheme. It would be great for Color Run photos too! (Now to find a race to sign up for...) I used another template from Simple Story Grids 6 as well!

This may be one of my favorite layouts of all time! Sweet Boy and the new coordinating journal cards were my design elements for this one. The color scheme is soft yet still boyish, and it matched perfectly with the photos I just took of Bram for his half birthday.

Finally, I used Sweet Girl and the matching journal cards to scrap this layout with an older photo of my baby sister. I love the pops of bright yellow! It's such a modern girly color scheme.

That's all for now! I'm already making my list of what to work with next from SuzyQ Scraps... So much loveliness to choose from!
